• Entry-level candidates with a strong work ethic and eagerness to learn are encouraged to apply.
• Key Responsibilities:
• Measure, cut, install, and repair glass in windows, skylights, and other fixtures.
• Work with a range of materials, including tempered glass, laminated glass, and other specialty glass products.
• Read and interpret blueprints and specifications to determine the type and dimensions of glass required.
• Remove old or broken glass before installing replacements.
• Seal glass with appropriate materials to ensure airtight and watertight installation.
• Ensure that all installations comply with safety standards and building codes.
• Collaborate with other construction professionals on projects to ensure timely completion and superior quality.
• Maintain equipment and tools in good working condition.
• Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients and addressing their needs and concerns.
• Qualifications:
• Proven experience as a glazier or in a similar role.
• Strong understanding of safety practices and building codes.
• Proficiency in using hand tools and machinery associated with glass installation.
• Ability to read technical documents and drawings.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Physical strength and stamina to handle heavy materials and work at heights.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
