In this role, you will oversee and execute the installation, repair, and replacement of glass and glazing systems across various commercial and residential projects. As a leader on-site, you will coordinate with team members, interpret technical drawings, and ensure that all projects meet quality standards and safety regulations. Your expertise in glass materials, window and door installation, and construction processes will drive successful project outcomes while inspiring your team to excel. Responsibilities Lead and supervise glazing crews to ensure efficient and accurate installation of glass products, windows, doors, and related fixtures. Interpret construction plans, blueprints, and technical drawings to determine precise measurements and installation requirements. Handle glass materials safely during transportation, cutting, fitting, and installation to prevent damage or injury. Use hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment to perform tasks such as frame carpentry, trim carpentry, caulking, and fixture installation. Conduct dimensional measurements and quality control checks to ensure all installations meet specified standards. Coordinate with project managers and other trades to align schedules for remodeling, cabinet installation, or construction painting tasks. Perform heavy lifting when handling large glass panels or materials on-site while adhering to safety protocols. Ensure quality control & safety compliance Coordinate with project managers & other trades Skills Extensive experience in construction estimating, blueprint reading, and interpreting technical drawings. Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, measuring devices, and glass handling equipment. Strong knowledge of window installation, door hanging, fixture setup, and trim carpentry techniques. Ability to accurately perform dimensional measurements for quality control purposes. Familiarity with glass materials handling, cutting techniques, and safety procedures related to glass installation. Construction site experience with a focus on remodeling projects or new builds involving glazing work. Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail in measuring and fitting components precisely. Hands-on experience in caulking, construction painting, assembly work, and handyman tasks as needed. Strong leadership & crew management Attention to detail Time management & jobsite organization 5+ years of commercial glazing experience Experience with storefront, curtain wall, door systems, mirrors & shower doors Knowledge of glass types & installation methods Experience operating lifts & jobsite equipment Precious foreman or lead experience preferred Providing your own tools Join us if you're passionate about craftsmanship in the glazing industry!
