Job Description
Dixie Glass is looking for a reliable, skilled Glazier to join our growing team. We specialize in residential and commercial glass installation, including custom shower enclosures, glass doors, windows, and other custom glass projects. We are especially interested in candidates with experience installing shower enclosures and glass doors , but we are willing to consider candidates with strong general glazing experience who are eager to learn. What You'll Do Install custom glass shower enclosures and doors Install glass doors, windows, and other glass products Measure openings accurately and verify dimensions before installation Handle, transport, and install large and heavy pieces of glass safely Use hand and power tools to complete installations Read measurements, drawings, and installation specifications Silicone, seal, and finish installations professionally Work directly with homeowners, contractors, and other trades when needed Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area Follow company safety procedures and installation standards Represent Dixie Glass professionally on job sites Preferred Qualifications Previous glazing experience Experience installing shower enclosures and/or glass doors strongly preferred Experience with frameless shower systems is a plus Ability to accurately measure and interpret dimensions Comfortable using hand and power tools Strong attention to detail Ability to safely lift and maneuver heavy glass Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license Ability to work independently and as part of a team Professional attitude and good communication skills Construction or remodeling experience is a plus What We're Looking For We're looking for someone who takes pride in their work and cares about the quality of the finished product. The right person will be dependable, detail-oriented, safety-conscious, and willing to work hard. Experience is preferred, but attitude, reliability, and willingness to learn matter too.
