Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Window & Door Installation Specialist to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and replacing windows and doors across various residential and commercial projects. Your expertise will ensure that each installation meets quality standards, safety regulations, and client specifications. Responsibilities Measure and interpret construction plans, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately install windows and doors according to specifications. Handle glass materials safely during transportation, fabrication, and installation processes to prevent damage or injury. Use hand tools and power tools to cut, assemble, and secure window frames, door frames, trim carpentry, metal stud framing, and related fixtures. Install glass panels securely within window frames and door assemblies while ensuring proper sealing with caulking for weatherproofing. Perform quality control measurements to verify proper fit, alignment, and operation of installed windows and doors. Conduct remodeling tasks such as drywall finishing, construction painting, fixture installation, cabinet hanging, and other handyman-related duties as needed. Follow construction plans meticulously while adhering to safety protocols on construction sites involving heavy lifting and fabrication activities. Skills Proficiency in using hand tools (e.g., screwdrivers, hammers), power tools (e.g., drills, saws), and measuring devices for precise installation work. Experience with glass materials handling—including cutting, fitting, glazing—and glass installation techniques. Knowledge of construction estimating processes to assist in project planning and resource management. Skilled in framing carpentry including metal stud framing and door hanging for structural support. Familiarity with drywall finishing, caulking applications, remodeling procedures, and construction painting. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining attention to detail during all phases of installation. Construction site experience with a focus on safety standards and efficient workflow management. Basic understanding of fabrication or manufacturing processes related to window or door components is a plus. Excellent problem-solving skills combined with the ability to interpret technical drawings accurately for seamless project execution.
