Job DescriptionCalifornia Closets of Richmond, VA are hiring for an installer position. Job SummaryBased on provided designs and components, construct, erect, install, and repair custom storage systems and accessories using laminate wood, edge-banding, hardware and other materials, requiring your skills with hand tools and power tools. Training is provided.
ResponsibilitiesPerform skilled and semi-skilled carpentry work to install custom storage systems such as closets, cabinets, offices, and other spaces in the home or commercial buildings.
Utilize company provided CAD drawings\blueprints to properly and efficiently install systems.
Helper and Apprentice level proficiency with specific product installation procedures.
Install of Locking Corner Shelves, adjust hampers, install fillers and scribe mold.
Install and adjust doors and side by side drawer stacks. Install fusion Slat wall system and basic floor based systems.
Install basic countertops, islands and all types of backing. Install flat trip both base and top trim.
Responsible for driving to and from customer sites and maintaining company provided vehicles in a safe manner. Report any vehicle problems to the company immediately.
