Job Description

Renuity is seeking a skilled Window Install Tech to perform high-quality residential window installations and replacements. In this role, you'll remove old units, prepare openings, accurately measure, set, level, and seal new windows, and ensure a clean, safe jobsite. You'll work in customers' homes, following building codes and safety standards while representing a customer-focused, performance-driven brand. Collaborate with teammates, resolve on-site issues, and communicate professionally with homeowners to deliver an exceptional remodeling experience and long-lasting results. Responsibilities Install and replace residential windows according to manufacturer specifications and building codes Remove existing windows and prepare openings, including minor carpentry and framing adjustments Measure, level, shim, and secure windows for proper fit, operation, and weatherproofing Apply insulation, flashing, caulking, and sealants to ensure energy efficiency and water tightness Maintain a clean, safe jobsite and follow all OSHA and company safety procedures Inspect completed work, troubleshoot issues, and make necessary adjustments or repairs Communicate professionally with homeowners about project scope, timeline, and care of new windows Collaborate with crew members, project managers, and warehouse staff to ensure timely completion of jobs Protect customer property with drop cloths and proper handling of materials and tools Document work performed, including photos and basic paperwork or mobile app updates Required Skills Residential window installation Carpentry and framing Use of power and hand tools Measuring and leveling Caulking and sealing Reading blueprints or work orders Building code and safety compliance Window removal and replacement Jobsite safety practices Customer communication
