In this role, you will be responsible for installing, replacing, and repairing glass in a variety of settings, including commercial buildings, residential homes, and custom projects. Your attention to detail, safety awareness, and hands-on skills will ensure that each installation meets high standards of quality and durability. Responsibilities Measure, cut, fabricate, and install glass panels, windows, doors, and custom glass fixtures according to project specifications and blueprints Use hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment safely and efficiently to complete installations Read schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings to ensure accurate placement and alignment of glass components Perform heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks required for large or bulky glass pieces while maintaining safety protocols Prepare surfaces by caulking, trimming, framing, or applying finishing touches such as painting or sealing to ensure a professional finish Install fixtures such as mirrors, partitions, or metal framing components with precision Collaborate with project managers, carpenters, and other tradespeople to coordinate installation schedules and ensure seamless project flow Skills Proficiency in understanding project scopes Skilled in using hand tools (e.g., chisels, screwdrivers), power tools (e.g., drills, saws), and fabrication equipment for precise work Strong experience in glass installation techniques across various environments Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately Knowledge of construction site safety practices and ability to work safely at heights or in confined spaces Familiarity with caulking applications for sealing joints and finishing surfaces Capable of heavy lifting and physical endurance for demanding installation tasks Handyman experience including fixture installation, door hanging, cabinetry setup or remodeling work Basic understanding of construction painting techniques for touch-ups or finishing touches Join us if you're passionate about craftsmanship and eager to contribute your skills to high-quality glass installations.
