Roles & Responsibilities Responsible for keeping a clean, safe and organized truck and job site before, during and after completing a job assignment. Keeps accurate count of all materials taken to site, installed, and returned to the warehouse. Hand install insulation using the "envelope theory", creating a barrier of comfort between conditioned interior living space and the outside elements. Install caulk and foam where needed. Install insulation stops, chutes and blockers where needed. Prepares thoroughly for job assignment by ensuring necessary equipment, safety gear, tools, paperwork and supplies are brought to job site. Makes necessary preparations for installation process at job site by unloading equipment and making sure that all objects that could get in the way of installation should be removed. Perform air infiltration detailing prior to insulation installation. Be familiar with all types of insulation and their uses. Make recommendations to your supervisor on "areas of concern" on jobsites.
