Heat and Frost Insulator Full-Time, Nonexempt Pay Range:
$20.00-$28.00 per hour BOE Position Summary The Heat and Frost Insulator installs insulation on piping, plumbing, heating, cooling, refrigeration systems, equipment, and pressure vessels. This position works with the Project Manager and insulation team to ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and according to specifications. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Measure, cut, fabricate, and install insulation using hand and power tools. Apply insulation and finishes, including aluminum, PVC, and stainless-steel jacketing. Assist with material delivery, job-site setup, and organization. Read and follow plans, specifications, and project requirements. Assist helpers and other team members as needed. Assist with project reports and change-order requests. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required. Minimum of one year of field experience preferred. Ability to read and interpret plans and specifications. Valid driver's license and satisfactory driving record. Strong teamwork, communication, and organizational skills. Commitment to safe work practices and quality workmanship. Safety This position may involve exposure to electrical hazards, slips and trips, falls, working at heights, and construction-site hazards.
