Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Spray Foam Technician to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing high-quality spray foam insulation and related building materials to improve energy efficiency and comfort in residential and commercial structures. Your expertise will help ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in insulation installation, construction techniques, and technical troubleshooting while contributing to sustainable building practices. Duties Prepare work sites by setting up scaffolding, ladders, and safety equipment to access various building areas safely. Mix and apply spray foam insulation accurately according to blueprint specifications and project requirements. Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications to ensure proper installation procedures are followed. Use hand tools, power tools, and airless paint sprayers efficiently for insulation application and related tasks. Follow strict safety protocols including power tool safety, ladder use, climbing procedures, and handling hazardous materials. Collaborate with team members and clients to communicate project progress, address concerns, and ensure customer satisfaction. Maintain a clean work environment by properly storing tools, disposing of waste materials responsibly, and inspecting equipment regularly. Qualifications Prior construction site experience with familiarity in building insulation installation or related trades such as framing or masonry. Knowledge of construction estimating, blueprint reading, interpreting technical drawings, and following specifications. Ability to operate ladders safely, climb scaffolding or structures as needed, and use hand tools effectively. Mechanical knowledge including understanding of power tools, airless paint sprayers, caulking guns, plastering tools, stucco application equipment, and metal stud framing. Basic math skills for measurements, calculations related to material quantities, and project estimations. Experience with construction estimating or site planning is a plus. Strong adherence to safety protocols including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE), power tool safety procedures, and hazard awareness. Excellent communication skills for client interactions and teamwork on busy job sites.
