Overview Join our dynamic team as a Spray Foam Insulation Technician and play a vital role in enhancing building energy efficiency through expert insulation installation. In this energetic position, you'll be responsible for applying spray foam insulation to various structures, ensuring optimal thermal performance and adherence to safety standards. Responsibilities Prepare work sites by setting up scaffolding, ladders, and safety barriers to ensure secure access and compliance with safety protocols Mix and apply spray foam insulation accurately following blueprint specifications and technical drawings Operate power tools and hand tools safely to install insulation efficiently across different building components such as walls, roofs, and attics Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and construction plans to determine precise insulation requirements Follow safety procedures rigorously, including proper handling of chemicals, power tools, and climbing equipment Collaborate with construction teams to coordinate installation schedules and ensure quality standards are met Conduct inspections of completed work to verify proper installation, sealing, and insulation performance Communicate effectively with clients regarding project progress, addressing questions or concerns professionally Requirements Proven construction site experience with a focus on building insulation installation or related trades such as carpentry, drywall, roofing, or masonry Ability to read blueprints, technical drawings, and interpret specifications accurately Familiarity with construction estimating processes and basic math skills for measurements and calculations Comfortable working at heights using ladders or scaffolding; physically capable of climbing and working in elevated positions Knowledge of safety protocols related to power tool operation, chemical handling (spray foam chemicals), and site safety standards Mechanical knowledge related to HVAC systems or metal stud framing is a plus Strong communication skills for client interaction and team collaboration Experience with fabrication techniques or drywall finishing is advantageous but not required Join us in creating energy-efficient spaces while advancing your construction expertise!
