Entry Level Mechanical Insulator $18-$20/hour (based on experience) Full-Time | Monday-Friday | Davenport, Quad Cities Area We are seeking a dependable Mechanical Insulator to join our growing team. Job Responsibilities Install insulation materials on pipes, ducts, and other mechanical systems to control temperature and reduce energy loss Clean and prepare surfaces prior to insulation application to ensure proper adhesion and effectiveness Measure and cut insulation materials to required dimensions and shapes Follow all safety protocols and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) Assist experienced insulators with material handling, tool maintenance, and jobsite cleanup Must Have Qualifications Valid driver's license Ability to work from heights up to 30 feet 1+ year of experience in construction, warehouse, manufacturing, or a related hands-on environment Ability to perform physical labor in an active jobsite setting Willingness to follow safety standards and learn new skills Required Tools Before Starting Candidates must have the following prior to their first day: Steel toe boots Tape measure Red handle tin strips Small channel locks Why Work Here? Schedule & Work Environment Monday-Friday Typical hours: 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM (hours may vary) Construction site environment Required PPE includes steel toe boots, hard hat, high-visibility attire, and safety glasses Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Davenport, IA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
