Job Overview Join our dynamic install team as an Insulation Technician, where you will play a vital role in enhancing building efficiency and comfort through expert insulation installation. This energetic position requires a proactive attitude, mechanical aptitude, and a keen eye for detail. You will be responsible for installing various types of insulation materials on mostly residential, some commercial, ensuring adherence to safety standards and blueprint specifications. Your efforts will directly contribute to creating energy-efficient environments while maintaining a safe and productive work site. Responsibilities Measure, cut, and install different insulation materials according to blueprint specifications and project requirements Use hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently to install insulation in walls, ceilings, attics, and other designated areas Interpret technical drawings, schematics, and blueprints to ensure precise installation aligned with project plans Follow safety protocols rigorously, including proper ladder use, power tool safety procedures, and climbing techniques Collaborate with carpenters, masons, HVAC technicians, and other trades to coordinate installation processes Maintain a clean work environment by organizing tools and disposing of waste materials properly Communicate effectively with clients and team members regarding project progress or any issues encountered during installation Experience Prior construction experience with a focus on insulation installation preferred but not mandatory; training provided for motivated candidates Hands-on experience with hand tools, power tools, ladders, scaffolding, and safety equipment Basic math skills for measurements and calculations required for precise installation Mechanical knowledge related to HVAC systems or metal stud framing is advantageous but not essential Ability to climb ladders safely and work at heights comfortably in various weather conditions Embark on a rewarding career where your craftsmanship makes a tangible difference!
