Job Summary We are looking for an experienced Bolted Tank Insulator to join our field construction crew. This position involves installing insulation systems on bolted steel tanks, including panel insulation, roof insulation, vapor barriers, jacketing, and associated components. The ideal candidate has field construction experience, works safely, and can perform efficiently in a crew environment. Duties Install industrial insulation systems on bolted steel tanks (polyiso, fiberglass, mineral wool, foam board, etc.) Measure, cut, and fit insulation panels and jacketing to manufacturer and project specifications Operate pneumatic drills, impact drivers, snips, shears, and cutting tools Install banding, clips, fasteners, and sealants Work from manlifts, scaffolding, and ladders safely and confidently Read and interpret construction drawings, installation guidelines, and job packets Maintain clean, organized work area Follow all company safety policies and OSHA requirements Communicate effectively with foreman and crew members Travel to job sites for extended periods (if applicable) Experience 1-3+ years industrial or construction experience (insulation or bolted tank experience preferred) Ability to use basic construction tools and pneumatic equipment Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work on elevated surfaces Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and ability to follow instructions Ability to work 10-hour shifts, overtime, and occasional weekends Must be able to travel nationwide (if required) Preferred Experience (Not Required) Bolted steel tank installation Industrial insulation (tanks, vessels, piping, or panels) Forklift or telehandler certification OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 Experience with metal jacketing and banding tools
