Insulation Worker Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Insulation Worker to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining insulation in residential, commercial, and industrial buildings. Your work will play a critical part in improving energy efficiency, reducing heating and cooling costs, and ensuring comfort for our clients. Responsibilities Measure and cut insulation materials to fit specific spaces, using hand tools or power tools. Install various types of insulation, including fiberglass, foam, cellulose, and reflective insulation, in walls, floors, ceilings, and around pipes or ductwork. Inspect buildings and structures to determine insulation requirements. Seal gaps and joints using caulk, tape, or other materials to ensure maximum energy efficiency. Remove old or damaged insulation and dispose of materials safely. Operate and maintain equipment such as blowers, vacuums, and spray foam machines. Follow safety guidelines and wear appropriate protective gear to minimize health risks. Collaborate with other team members, contractors, and supervisors to ensure project deadlines are met. Maintain a clean and organized worksite, adhering to company standards and regulations. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. Prior experience as an insulation installer or in a similar role is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate. Ability to work in confined spaces, at heights, and in varying weather conditions. Strong physical stamina and the ability to lift and carry heavy materials. Basic math and measurement skills. Knowledge of insulation materials, tools, and installation techniques is a plus. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship. Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
