Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Spray Foam Installer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing high-quality spray foam insulation in residential, commercial, and industrial buildings. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects, develop your skills in insulation installation, and contribute to sustainable building practices. Installer will also install other types of insulation as needed, as we are a full service insulation company. Responsibilities Prepare work sites by setting up scaffolding, ladders, and safety barriers to ensure secure access during installation. Measure and interpret blueprint specifications and schematics to accurately install spray foam insulation according to project requirements. Mix and apply thermal barrier coating using airless paint spraying equipment or other power tools, ensuring even coverage and proper adhesion. Follow safety protocols rigorously, including proper handling of chemicals, power tool safety procedures, and use of personal protective equipment (PPE). Use hand tools and fabrication techniques to modify materials or components as needed for precise installation. Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with clients to clarify project details or address concerns. Maintain a clean work environment by managing waste materials and inspecting completed work for quality assurance. Experience Prior construction site experience with a focus on insulation installation or related trades Knowledge of building codes, safety standards, and best practices for spray foam application. Experience operating power tools safely and efficiently in a construction setting. Basic math skills for measuring materials and calculating quantities accurately. Ability to climb ladders safely and work at heights comfortably while adhering to safety protocols.
