Casco Bay Insulation is hiring a full-time Insulation Technician to join our growing team. We specialize in dense-pack cellulose insulation and high-performance air sealing for residential homes throughout Southern Maine. Our work improves comfort, energy efficiency, indoor air quality, and building durability using proven building science methods. with company match ✔ 2 weeks paid time off ✔ 9 paid holidays What You'll Do As an Insulation Technician, you will work in residential homes helping improve comfort and energy efficiency.
Typical responsibilities include:
Air sealing and weatherization Installing netting and dense-pack cellulose insulation Installing air barriers Operating insulation blowing equipment Driving and maintaining company box trucks Maintaining tools and equipment Communicating with site supervisors and team members Working safely and professionally on active job sites Our work focuses exclusively on cellulose insulation and air sealing — no spray foam or fiberglass production work. Who Succeeds Here The right person for this role is: Dependable and motivated Comfortable with physical, hands-on work Detail-oriented and safety-minded Professional in customers' homes Interested in learning building science and trade skills Able to work well as part of a team Qualifications Construction or installation experience is helpful but not required We are willing to train motivated candidates with a strong work ethic and construction aptitude Valid driver's license required Familiarity with construction tools and jobsite safety Ability to work in attics, basements, and crawl spaces Comfortable using ladders and scaffolding (typically under 10 feet) Ability to lift 50 pounds Schedule Full-time Monday-Friday 6:45 AM - 4:00 PM Due to the nature of our work, smoking is not permitted on the job site.
