Job Description

Job Overview Zebra Insulation is seeking an experienced Lead Insulation Installer to join or team. This position is ideal for someone with hands-on experience in multiple types of insulation who is comfortable leading a crew, completing projects from start to finish, and solving problems independently on-site. The lead installer will oversee insulation projects in residential and commercial settings, including attics, walls, crawl spaces, basements, garages and other areas. This role requires strong installation skills, jobsite leadership, attention to detail, and the ability to work with a variety of insulation types, including spray foam, cellulose, blown in fiberglass, fiberglass batt and other materials. Duties Lead insulation installation projects from start to finish. Lead and train crew members by working along side them to complete projects. Utilize hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment to install various types of insulation materials such as fiberglass, spray foam, cellulose and other insulation materials Review job scopes and work orders and communicate expectation to the crew Coordinate with project managers, contractors, and other trades to ensure seamless workflow and adherence to project plans Perform quality-control inspections to ensure proper coverage, air sealing, depth and installation Maintain a clean, organized, and safe jobsite Troubleshoot installation or equipment issues in the field Maintain detailed documentation of work performed, materials used, and site conditions for project records Requirements Proven experience in insulation work with a focus on insulation installation. Skilled in the use of hand tools (e.g., utility knives, tape measures) and power tools (e.g., drills, saws) Previous experience leading a crew or running jobs Mechanical aptitude and experience trouble shooting equipment strongly preferred Ability to safely operate hand and power tools and insulation equipment Strong understanding of insulation installation practices and jobsite safety Ability to read job scopes, measurements, and plans/work orders Physical stamina to perform demanding tasks in various environments; comfortable working at heights or in confined spaces when necessary Valid chauffers driver's license with a clean driving record Ideal Candidate We are looking for an experienced insulation professional who can confidently run jobs and crews, solve problems on the jobsite, communicate effectively, and ensure each project is completed safely, efficiently, and to our quality standards.
Pay:
$28.00 - $32.00 per hour
