Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Insulation Installer to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing various types of insulation materials in residential, commercial, and industrial buildings to improve energy efficiency and comfort. Your expertise will help ensure that projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in construction installation while contributing to sustainable building practices. Responsibilities Measure and cut insulation materials accurately according to blueprint specifications and project requirements Install building insulation using hand tools, power tools, and proper safety procedures Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and construction plans to ensure precise placement of insulation and related materials Use ladders, scaffolding, and climbing techniques safely to access hard-to-reach areas during installation Follow all safety protocols, including power tool safety guidelines and ladder use procedures, to maintain a secure work environment Communicate effectively with clients and team members regarding project progress and technical details Assist with other construction tasks such as basic carpentry as needed Skills Construction estimating experience for material calculation and project planning Proficiency in ladder use, climbing, and working at heights safely Mechanical knowledge related to insulation materials and installation techniques Skilled in using hand tools such as knives, tape measures, screwdrivers, and utility knives Construction site experience with a focus on safety compliance and efficient workflow Ability to interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and construction plans accurately Basic math skills for measurements and calculations during installation processes Knowledge of building insulation types including foam board, fiberglass batts, spray foam, or mineral wool Understanding of construction estimating for material needs and project timelines Strong client communication skills to address questions or concerns professionally Join our team if you're eager to build your expertise in insulation installation while making a tangible impact on energy-efficient building practices.
