In this energetic position, you'll be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining various types of insulation materials across residential construction sites. Your expertise will help ensure structures are properly insulated, ventilated and air sealed, to meet safety standards and client specifications. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work hands-on with diverse projects, utilizing your construction knowledge and technical skills to deliver top-quality results. Duties Install a variety of insulation materials such as fiberglass, foam board, ventilation chutes and cellulose according to blueprint specifications and project requirements Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and blueprints to accurately execute insulation plans Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively for cutting, fitting, and securing insulation materials Climb ladders, scaffolding, or work at heights safely to access hard-to-reach areas on roofs or walls Follow strict safety protocols including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and power tool safety procedures Collaborate with carpenters, drywall installers, HVAC technicians, and other trades to coordinate installation processes Maintain a clean work environment by organizing tools and disposing of waste materials responsibly Skills Construction estimating experience to assess project scope and material needs accurately Proficiency in ladder use, climbing techniques, and working at heights safely Mechanical knowledge related to building systems such as HVAC, framing, or masonry is a plus Skilled in using hand tools (e.g., knives, staplers) and power tools (e.g., drills, saws) with safety awareness Strong understanding of blueprint reading and interpreting technical drawings or schematics Basic math skills for measurements, calculations, and material estimations Experience with building insulation installation across various construction environments Knowledge of construction site safety protocols and OSHA standards Ability to communicate effectively with clients and team members about project progress or issues Familiarity with related trades such as plastering, caulking, drywall installation, metal stud framing, roofing, or stucco work is advantageous Join us in delivering high-quality insulation solutions that improve energy efficiency while building your skills in a fast-paced construction environment!
