Job Description
Brown & Root is seeking qualified SPRAT or IRATA Level 1 and Level 2 Rope Access Insulators to perform industrial insulation activities utilizing rope access methods.
Primary Responsibilities:
Remove, repair, fabricate, and install industrial insulation systems while working from rope access systems.
Perform insulation work on piping, vessels, equipment, and other industrial components.
Install and remove insulation jacketing and weatherproofing as required.
Safely establish and maintain rope access work positions in accordance with company and
SPRAT/IRATA
requirements.
Inspect and properly use assigned rope access and craft equipment.
Follow site safety requirements, permits, JSAs, and direction from Rope Access Level 3 supervision.
Maintain high standards of workmanship, housekeeping, and material control.
Qualifications:
Current SPRAT or IRATA Level 1 or Level 2 certification.
Industrial insulation experience required.
Ability to safely perform physically demanding work at height.
Strong commitment to safety, quality, and teamwork.
QUALIFICATIONS
May require a high school diploma or its equivalent with previous years of experience in the field or in a related area. Has knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job. Will require some independent decision making and ability to lead and direct a crew(s) in a safe and efficient manner. Typically will report to a manager.
