Job Summary Palmer Services is hiring experienced Pipe Insulators for an active construction project at DFW International Airport. This position focuses on commercial mechanical pipe insulation. The ideal candidate can work safely and efficiently in a fast-paced airport construction environment while meeting project specifications and quality standards. Responsibilities Install insulation on plumbing, hydronic, chilled-water, hot-water, and other mechanical piping systems Measure, cut, fit, and secure fiberglass, foam, elastomeric, and other specified insulation materials Install vapor barriers, jacketing, fittings, valves, and related insulation components Read and follow blueprints, specifications, schedules, and manufacturer requirements Seal joints and penetrations to maintain system efficiency and prevent condensation Coordinate work with plumbers, HVAC crews, supervisors, and other trades Use ladders, lifts, hand tools, and power tools safely Maintain a clean, organized work area and follow all Palmer, project, and airport safety rules Qualifications Commercial pipe-insulation experience preferred Working knowledge of mechanical piping systems and common insulation materials Ability to accurately measure, cut, and fabricate insulation for pipes, fittings, valves, and equipment Ability to read construction drawings and follow written and verbal instructions Reliable transportation and consistent attendance Ability to lift construction materials and work from ladders or lifts Must be able to meet applicable DFW Airport site-access, background-screening, and badging requirements Palmer Services offers steady project work, competitive pay based on experience, and opportunities for advancement.
