Spray Insulation Technician

Job Overview We are seeking a skilled Spray Insulation Technician to join our client's construction team dedicated to delivering high-quality insulation solutions across various building projects. In this role, you will be responsible for applying spray foam and other insulation materials to enhance energy efficiency and building performance. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of construction processes, technical skills in handling insulation equipment, and the ability to work safely and efficiently on all builds. Duties Prepare work areas by setting up scaffolding, masking surfaces, and ensuring safety protocols are followed Operate spray foam equipment and airless paint sprayers with precision to apply insulation materials evenly Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine insulation specifications Measure, cut, and fabricate insulation components using hand tools, power tools, and fabrication techniques Apply insulation materials accurately in walls, ceilings, attics, roofs, and other structural elements Perform quality checks to ensure proper adhesion, coverage, and compliance with project standards Maintain equipment by cleaning, troubleshooting, and performing routine maintenance tasks Collaborate with carpenters, masons, roofers, and other trades to coordinate installation activities Assist in estimating material quantities and preparing job site layouts as needed Follow safety guidelines diligently to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment Experience Proven experience working on construction sites with knowledge of various trades such as carpentry, roofing, masonry, or drywall installation Familiarity with construction estimating processes and blueprint reading for insulation applications Hands-on experience with hand tools, power tools, mechanical systems, and fabrication techniques Knowledge of building codes related to insulation standards and safety regulations Mechanical aptitude with understanding of HVAC systems, schematics, and metal stud framing is advantageous Prior experience applying spray foam or airless paint spraying is highly desirable Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to adapt quickly to different project requirements

Base Pay:

$15.00/hr.

Earn Up to:

$17.00/hr with weekly attendance incentives

Adjustments:

If Absent minus $2.00 If late minus a $1.00 Resets weekly every

Monday Schedule Mon-Fri:

6:00 AM-2:30

PM Sat:
