JOB TITLE
Insulation Installer and Driver
FUNCTION
Drive a company vehicle to job sites and install insulation in commercial and residential buildings in accordance with customer needs and organizational priorities.
REPORTING TO
Insulation Location Manager
KEY ACTIVITIES
Visualize and implement Company vision and core values. Drive a company vehicle to job sites. Obey traffic laws and follow established traffic and transportation procedures. Perform routine pre- and post- inspections to ensure suitable working nature of equipment and vehicles. Install insulation at commercial and residential job sites in a time-efficient and quality-centered manner. Perform repairs and adjustments to completed installs as needed. Provide exceptional customer service. Load and unload supplies and materials. Effectively communicate job status and key issues to manager. Correctly fill out paperwork each day to ensure proper billing is possible. Prioritize work activity according to business needs and as directed by supervisor. Adhere to company safety standards and procedures. Complete and submit daily work reports, productivity records, and other documentation as required. Adhere to all company policies and procedures as outlined in the employee handbook. Other duties as assigned.
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS
Works effectively with minimal supervision and direction. Able to perform accurate measurement and basic calculations. Functions well as part of a team. Effectively follows written and verbal instructions. Punctual and reliable. Ability to achieve performance objectives in a time-sensitive and quality-centred environment. Demonstrate initiative and reliability with minimal supervision.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
High School Diploma or GED. Driver License, Class D Medical Card
PHYSICAL REQUIEMENTS
Physically able to drive a vehicle. Physically able to bend, stoop, and kneel for extended periods of time. Frequent bending, standing, lifting, and ongoing physical activity. Physically able to exert up to 25 lbs of force regularly. Occasional work in confined spaces such as attics and crawl spaces. Regular exposure to the elements. Regularly works with fiberglass insulation and other potential skin irritants (PPE required).
