Full Job Description Responsibilities:
Learn to measure, cut, and install insulation materials on pipes, ducts, and mechanical equipment. Assist with installing insulation on hot and cold systems, including HVAC, refrigeration, and other mechanical systems. Learn to work with different types of insulation materials, including fiberglass, foam, pipe wrap, duct board, and other specialty materials. Read and interpret blueprints and specifications to determine duct work requirements. Apply insulation to both hot and cold systems, including refrigeration and cold storage. Ensure safety and compliance with building codes and industry standards. Collaborate with contractors and other trades on construction or retrofit projects. You will work on commercial, industrial, military base, and federal projects as assigned. Attention to detail and precision in cutting and fitting insulation. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Familiarity with design-build projects and construction processes is a plus.
Required Skills, Abilities, and Qualifications:
Must be able to pass a background check to obtain DBIDS military badging. Must have the REAL ID, Social Security, and Birth Certificate. Must have a vehicle and ability to travel within the 757 cities. Previous knowledge in construction, sheet metal, HVAC helper, or carpentry would be desirable, but not required.

Monday-Friday 7:00am-3:30pm

Hampton Roads, VA Pay:
$18-22hr+
