This role involves installing insulation materials in commercial buildings, ensuring energy efficiency and compliance with safety standards. The ideal candidate will have experience working on construction sites, familiarity with various tools, and a strong understanding of building blueprints. This position offers an opportunity to work on diverse projects, develop specialized skills, and contribute to high-quality construction outcomes. Responsibilities Complete prep work for installation, to include caulking and taping Use hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment safely and efficiently during installation Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to determine insulation placement and specifications Collaborate with team members to ensure timely project completion while maintaining safety standards Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to OSHA regulations and safety protocols Assist in the fabrication of custom insulation components or modifications as required for specific projects Ability to stay overnights when we have working long distances Requirements Driver's license is required Construction site experience with a focus on insulation installation or related trades such as carpentry, roofing, or masonry Proficiency with hand tools (e.g., knives, tape measures) and power tools (e.g., saws, drills) Able to work in indoor/outdoor elements Able to travel throughout Wisconsin Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings accurately is a PLUS Bilingual is a PLUS Previous insulation or painting experience is a PLUS Ability to work safely at heights or in confined spaces as required by the project scope What We Offer $22-30/hr depending on experience Steady, year-round commercial work (no residential bouncing) Advancement path to learning our specialty Organized crews and professional projects Company that values craftsmanship This position requires a proactive attitude, attention to detail, and a commitment to quality craftsmanship.
