Summary Assist in the manufacturing of rebar through the operation of various machines to cut, bend, and shear rebar. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Operate various equipment including shearing machine, bending machine, power saw, and cutting machine to manufacture reinforced steel bars to specifications for customers Operate overhead crane to move, assemble, and select material to be fabricated or shipped Operate spray gun for application of epoxy to steel bars Assemble/Load/Unload trailers for shipping and storage The job description and responsibilities described are intended to provide guidelines for job expectations and the employee's ability to perform the position described. Qualifications High school diploma or GED, one to three months of related experience and training, or equivalent combination of education and experience Ability to read and interpret documents such as operating instructions and procedure manuals written in English Ability to frequently lift and move up to 25 pounds on own, occasionally lift and move up to 50 pounds and frequently lift and move up to 100 pounds with machinery or assistance Working knowledge of manufacturing software and computer software Benefits Paid Time Off and 7 company paid holiday's a year.
