West & Co. has openings for Certified Structural Fitters in Chunchula, AL. These are long-term, full-time roles.
Details below:
Must be able to read blueprints, section and plan drawings and weld symbols Must be able to read and derive measurements, dimensions, and quantity of material needed to fabricate a structure Fabricate, assemble, and install structural steel products such as beams, braces, pipes and plates Use come-a-longs, chain falls, and other industry tools and equipment Install, use, and remove stop plates, dogs and pad eyes Expected to climb and work in high places and in confined spaces Must be capable of using power tools properly and safely Fabrication experience is a plus Must be familiar with OSHA rules and regulations Must be willing to undergo background check and drug screening G.A.
