Job Summary:

Responsible for fitting, fabricating, and welding structural steel and metal components according to blueprints, measurements, and specifications. Must be able to use welding equipment, hand and power tools, read basic drawings, and ensure work meets quality and safety standards. Must provide own welding gear. Construction or structural welding experience preferred.

Responsibilities:

Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and welding specifications. Measure, cut, fit, and assemble structural steel and metal components. Perform MIG, stick, or flux-core welding as required. Set up and operate welding equipment, torches, grinders, and other hand/power tools. Inspect welds and finished products for quality and accuracy. Make adjustments or repairs as needed to meet specifications. Follow all company safety procedures and OSHA requirements. Perform additional fabrication and construction duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

3 years of welding and fitting experience preferred. Previous construction or structural steel experience preferred. Ability to read and interpret blueprints and fabrication drawings. Proficient in MIG, stick, or flux-core welding. Ability to accurately measure, cut, fit, and assemble metal components. Experience using grinders, torches, saws, and other hand/power tools. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. Ability to work safely and follow OSHA/company safety guidelines. Ability to lift and move heavy materials as required. Reliable attendance and strong work ethic. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Welding certifications are a plus. #HSM125

$25.00 per hour
