Job Description
Gadsden Fabrication is looking to fill positions for a fitter. Welders must be able to pass a MIG 1G weld test with metal core wire. Please come by and apply in person as well as interview (Must be able to pass a drug test.) Must be able to fillet and butt joint weld Read blueprints and drawings Take and/or read measurements to plan layout and procedures May lay out and mark weld points on parts or subassemblies May inspect completed work for conformance to specifications Observe all standard safety practices Maintain and complete all required records Follow all safety rules and practices Perform other duties as assigned Basic understanding of Carbon Arcing Gouging Ability to maintain good attendance Operate grinding equipment Ability to work overtime and weekends, as needed Must be able to maintain clean work area What we offer: After 90 days available insurance Medical BCBS, Dental, Vision, and Short term disability After 90 days, eligible for a raise based on evaluation After 90 days eligible for company paid holidays Company offers up to 4% match dollar for dollar on 401K Paid vacation available after 1st year is completed Competitive pay based on experience' '
