Metal Stud Framer Gillmann Services, Inc. - 4.2 Huntsville, AL Job Details Full-time | Contract $26 an hour 16 hours ago Qualifications Measuring tapes Rebar installation Heavy equipment operation Basic math Dimensional measurements Construction plans Construction drawing review Construction industry experience Power tools Safety standard operating procedures Hand tools Full Job Description Gillmann Services is recruiting for Metal Stud Framers for the Huntsville Alabama area for a long term project Contractors are working minimum of 56 Hours Weekly Responsibilities Interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately execute framing layouts using metal studs Measure, cut, assemble, and install metal framing components with hand tools and power tools Ensure proper alignment, plumbness, and levelness of framing structures according to specifications Collaborate with project managers and other trades to coordinate installation schedules and site logistics Maintain a safe work environment by adhering to safety protocols and utilizing appropriate personal protective equipment Assist with the installation of drywall, plastering, stucco, siding, and other finishing materials as needed Operate heavy equipment when required for material handling or site preparation Conduct quality inspections throughout the framing process to ensure compliance with building codes and standards Support the interpretation of construction plans and schematics for accurate execution of framing tasks Perform heavy lifting and physical tasks associated with construction site activities Requirements Proven experience in metal building erection, metal stud framing, or related construction roles Proficiency in reading blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, tape measures, and dimensional measurements Knowledge of construction management principles and site safety protocols Ability to perform basic math calculations accurately for measurements and layout work Experience with rebar installation, concrete forming, masonry, roofing, drywall installation, or plastering is advantageous Strong physical stamina for heavy lifting and prolonged physical activity on-site Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship Valid construction site experience with a focus on framing or carpentry disciplines Please Call Jerry at 865.851.8054 for immediate interview
