Job Description

Description:

Venture Dynamics is hiring experienced Shipfitters to join the team in Pascagoula, MS and Mobile, AL. Candidates should have strong experience fitting and assembling steel structures for ships and vessels.

Responsibilities:

Layout, fit, and fabricate steel plates and structural components Read blueprints and use measuring tools accurately Perform tack welding and assist welders as needed Follow all safety procedures

Requirements:

Minimum 3 years of shipfitting experience Must pass a written and hands-on tack test Able to read blueprints and work independently U.S. Citizenship may be required

Shifts:

1st and 2nd shift available

Hours:

40 hours plus optional over time Monday-Friday Weekends optional

Pay:

$28.50 - $30.69 per hour
