In this role, you will leverage your expertise in metal building erection, blueprint reading, and construction management to deliver precise and efficient aluminum structural components. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects, from commercial buildings to renovation efforts, ensuring safety, quality, and timely completion at every stage. Responsibilities Erect and install aluminum structural frameworks according to detailed blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings. Interpret construction plans and schematics accurately to ensure proper assembly and alignment of metal structures. Operate heavy equipment and power tools safely to handle metal components during installation. Collaborate with project managers, site supervisors, and other trades to coordinate tasks seamlessly on-site. Perform dimensional measurements and trim carpentry to ensure precise fitting of aluminum parts. Conduct quality checks throughout the installation process, ensuring adherence to safety standards and project specifications. Assist with site preparation tasks such as framing, siding, roofing, or restoration work as needed. Requirements Proven experience in metal building erection, steel framing, or related construction fields. Strong knowledge of blueprint reading, schematics, and interpreting technical drawings. Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, tape measures, and basic math skills for accurate measurements. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and operate heavy equipment when necessary. Familiarity with construction plans involving metal stud framing, rebar installation, or concrete forming is a plus. Experience working on construction sites with a focus on safety protocols and teamwork. Basic carpentry skills including framing, trim carpentry, drywall finishing (plastering), or roofing are desirable. Knowledge of masonry, siding installation, stucco application, or remodeling projects is advantageous. Strong communication skills for interpreting technical instructions and collaborating effectively with team members. Valid certifications related to construction safety or equipment operation are preferred but not mandatory.
