Job Description
Ironworker / Sheeting Foreman — Full Time Location Warrior, AL The Role This is a full-time, hands-on Foreman position running crews on new construction metal building projects — from ground up through final sheathing and panel installation. You'll coordinate daily operations, manage your crew, and make sure the job gets done right, safe, and on schedule. No one's going to micromanage you. You know the work — we need you to own it. What You'll Be Doing Lead and direct ironworker/sheeting crews on commercial and industrial new construction job sites Oversee structural steel erection, metal building assembly, and metal panel/sheeting installation Coordinate daily workflow, crew assignments, and material staging Conduct daily safety briefings and enforce all OSHA and site-specific safety protocols Read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and erection sequences Communicate progress, challenges, and needs directly with project management Maintain a clean, organized, hazard-free work environment Mentor and develop crew members on safe work practices and quality standards What You Bring 5+ years of ironworker experience with metal building erection and sheeting/panel installation Proven experience running and directing crews on commercial or industrial construction projects Strong working knowledge of OSHA safety standards — current OSHA 30 preferred Ability to read blueprints and erection drawings Reliable, self-motivated, and accountable — you show up, you lead, you deliver Strong communication skills with crew and management Valid driver's license; reliable transportation Willingness to travel within the region as projects require
