Job Description

Key Responsibilities:
Assist with unloading, staging, moving, and positioning structural steel and materials. Support layout and basic installation of steel components under supervision. Use hand and power tools to assist with bolting, aligning, and securing materials. Assist with rigging, signaling, and guiding loads during crane and equipment operations. Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas. Follow instructions from supervisors and senior ironworkers. Maintain and care for assigned tools and equipment. Perform other trade-related duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in structural, industrial, or construction work. Willingness to build skills in the ironworking trade. Ability to work at heights, lift heavy materials, and work outdoors. Strong safety awareness and teamwork skills.

Perform work safely and accurately. Demonstrate reliability, professionalism, and a strong work ethic. Show initiative and willingness to improve trade skills. Respect tools, equipment, and jobsite property. Safety Requirements Use all required personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times. Follow Federal, State, company, and client safety rules and procedures. Participate in job hazard analyses and daily safety meetings. Report unsafe conditions, incidents, and near misses immediately. Maintain a safe and alert working environment at all times.
