About the Role As a Metal Fabrication Welder, you will play a vital role in constructing high-quality pollution control systems by applying precision welding techniques to various alloys. You will contribute to our mission of environmental protection by ensuring every assembly meets rigorous safety and structural standards through expert craftsmanship. Responsibilities Execute precise TIG and MIG welding on carbon and stainless steel to create durable industrial assemblies. Interpret complex fabrication drawings and bills of materials to ensure accurate component fitment. Collaborate with production teams to meet project schedules while maintaining high-quality output. Operate essential shop machinery, including drills, grinders, and press brakes, to prepare metal components. Perform minor assembly modifications to optimize equipment performance and structural integrity. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace to support efficient production workflows. Qualifications Required Skills 3-7 years of professional welding experience. Demonstrated proficiency in TIG and MIG welding processes. Ability to read and interpret technical fabrication blueprints and schematics. Experience operating standard metal shop tools and heavy machinery. Physical capability to lift up to 75 lbs and perform sustained manual labor. High School Diploma or GED equivalent. Preferred Skills Current or previous AWS or ASME certifications. Prior experience with forklift operation in a manufacturing environment. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail for high-accuracy tasks.
