Job Description

Overview Directly responsible for the supervision of security officers assigned to the shift, prepares work schedules, performs inspections, assists guests/employees in the park, and completes any and all assignments put forth by senior management. Responsibilities Supervises seasonal security officers assigned to their shift. Conducts roll call, inspects the appearance of officers, and designates assignments. Conducts on-shift post inspections. Responds to supervisory requests in the field by Officers. Makes frequent checks of patrol and fixed security assignments in the park. Assists in the security office as necessary. Documents the performance of security officers. Assembles evidence and assists in the questioning of suspects. Coordinates with security management arrests and ejections made on their shift. Reviews and approves reports, logs, and other records of shift activities. Passes on information to supervisors coming on duty. Keeps the shift supervisor informed of all activities and occurrences. Ensures proper performance of shift personnel in accordance with departmental operating policy. Ensures maintenance and cleanliness of security vehicles and equipment. Ensures all security policies are in place and being consistently followed. All other duties as assigned by Security Team Management. Qualifications 2 years of Security experience or background is a plus. A high school diploma or a GED is a must Must possess a valid driver's license Possess the ability to handle confidential information without divulging its contents to peers and coworkers Exceptional organizational and time management skills Possess and demonstrate a positive and professional image Park experiences preferred Must be able to work flexible/ rotating shifts, including but not limited to nights, weekends, and some holidays Must be at least 18 years of age Must be able stand and walk for extended periods of time Must be able to lift fifty lbs. unassisted Must be able to maintain any and all certifications as directed by the Training, Development, and Compliance Supervision Able to communicate effectively in English
