This role is ideal for a skilled tradesperson looking to apply their expertise in a modern, well-equipped facility with opportunities for long-term growth. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 6:00 AM to 3:00 PM, with overtime and occasional weekend work.
Responsibilities:
Perform precision TIG welding on stainless steel components as the primary focus of the role Read and interpret blueprints, weld symbols, and fabrication drawings to ensure accurate builds Set up and operate fabrication equipment including shears, brakes, and grinders as needed Fit and assemble metal parts prior to welding to ensure proper alignment and fit-up Inspect finished welds for quality, consistency, and adherence to specifications Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area in accordance with shop safety standards Collaborate with team members and shop leads to meet production schedules and deadlines
Requirements:
3-5 years of hands-on TIG welding experience, primarily with stainless steel Experience with other welding processes (MIG, Stick) is a plus Working knowledge of fabrication equipment and tools (shears, brakes, grinders, etc.) Ability to read blueprints and weld symbols accurately Reliable, detail-oriented, and able to work overtime or weekends when production needs require it.
