Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a skilled and motivated Metal Fabricator to join our dynamic team. We build Police and specialty vehicles all revolving around law enforcement and fire. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and transforming raw metal materials into precise, high-quality fabricated components and assemblies. Your expertise will ensure that all projects meet safety standards, technical specifications, and quality expectations. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse fabrication projects, utilizing advanced tools and techniques to bring designs to life with precision and efficiency. We are looking for someone that can design and fabricate. Not just a welder but a true fabricator. Responsibilities Design, draw (both paper and CAD) Interpret technical drawings, and fabrication shop drawings to accurately guide the fabrication process. Measure, cut, shape, and assemble metal materials using hand tools, power tools, plasma cutters, and machining equipment. Perform welding operations including MIG (Metal Inert Gas), TIG (Tungsten Inert Gas), (American Welding Society) standards. Use measuring instruments such as calipers, and measuring tapes to ensure precise dimensions and tolerances. Follow strict safety protocols at all times to maintain a safe working environment on the shop floor and at construction sites. Assemble fabricated parts into finished products or structures, ensuring proper fit and finish according to specifications. Experience Vehicle disassembly, both interior and exterior Proven shop fabrication experience with a strong background in mechanical fabrication and metal materials. Proficiency in reading blueprints, technical drawings, and interpreting mechanical blueprints accurately. Familiarity with welding techniques including
