(CPCI) is looking for an experienced Pole Treatment Foreman . CPCI was recently awarded the Southern California Edison Intrusive Pole Inspection (IPI) Program. We are building a crew from the ground up to support GO 165 compliance work across SCE's 50,000-square-mile service territory. All positions are covered under the IBEW Local 47 Pole Treatment & Restoration Agreement; selected candidates will be walked into the Union as part of onboarding. Full-time, Union (IBEW Local 47) About the Role You will lead an intrusive pole inspection crew evaluating and internally treating standing wood utility poles across SCE's service territory. Crews consist of up to five workers including the Foreman, with up to two Senior Technicians and three additional Treatment Technicians per Senior Tech. Work is performed under SCE Material Specification MS-454 and General Order 95 guidelines. What you'll do : Perform groundline evaluation and treatment of standing wood poles to

standards Lead and direct a crew of up to five, including techs and senior techs Complete field inspection reporting accurately and on schedule What you need : Minimum 1 year of experience in intrusive pole inspection and treatment (SCE program requirement) Working knowledge of GO 95 pole evaluation and remedial preservative application Valid California driver's license and clean driving record (you'll operate the crew truck) Willingness to travel across SCE's service territory and to join IBEW Local #47 within 7 days of hire Able to perform physical outdoor work in all terrain and weather Physical Demands - A qualified individual must be able to perform these essential functions with or without reasonable accommodation: Sitting and/or standing/walking for long periods on uneven ground Must be able to lift and carry 50 pounds regularly and up to 75 pounds occasionally Twisting, reaching overhead, pulling, pushing Ability to work at heights (e.g., on ladders, scaffolding) and in confined spaces (such as trenches or manholes) as required by the project Use hands to handle tools and heavy equipment, and reach with arms. Specific vision abilities required include close vision (for reading plans/computer screens), distance vision, and depth perception. The employee could be exposed to weather conditions such as heat, cold, and rain, and will work near heavy machinery and moving vehicles The noise level on site is often loud, and the environment may involve dust and fumes. Appropriate PPE (hard hat, safety vest, hearing protection, etc.) is required at all times. Work may occasionally be at heights or in confined spaces The employee is required to follow all safety policies and procedures and to actively participate in safety trainings and meetings. Schedule :

Standard schedule is 5×8 (Mon-Fri) or 4×10 (Mon-Thu) by mutual agreement. Overtime at 1.5× over 40 hrs/week.
