We take pride in producing high-quality work and are looking for an experienced fabricator who shares that commitment. Position Summary We are seeking a skilled Ornamental Iron Fabricator to join our team. The ideal candidate has experience fabricating custom ornamental iron gates, fences, railings, and structural steel components from shop drawings. This position requires attention to detail, strong welding skills, and the ability to produce high-quality finished products. Responsibilities Fabricate custom ornamental iron gates, fencing, railings, and miscellaneous metal projects. Read and interpret shop drawings and fabrication prints. Measure, cut, fit, weld, grind, and assemble steel components. Operate fabrication equipment including cold saws, band saws, ironworkers, drill presses, and welding equipment. Assist with gate and operator installations in the field when needed. Maintain clean, accurate welds and professional craftsmanship. Ensure all work meets company quality standards. Assist with loading completed projects for installation crews. Maintain a clean and organized work area. Follow all company safety procedures. Qualifications Minimum 3 years of ornamental iron fabrication experience preferred. Proficient in MIG welding on mild steel. Ability to read blueprints and shop drawings. Experience fabricating custom gates and fencing preferred. Familiarity with gate hardware and automatic gate systems is a plus. Strong measuring and layout skills. Valid California driver's license with a clean driving record. Ability to lift 75 pounds and work safely around fabrication equipment. Dependable, self-motivated, and takes pride in quality workmanship. Preferred Skills Gate fabrication experience. Forklift experience. Plasma table or CNC experience. Powder coating preparation. Installation experience is a plus but not required. What We Offer Competitive hourly pay based on experience. Overtime opportunities. Paid holidays.
