Job description We are looking for an experienced Transmission and Differential builder for an independent Toyota/Lexus service center, who enjoys diagnosing, rebuilding, and improving driveline components. This is a fast paced job that requires multitasking as we are always VERY busy! Duties:

Diagnose transmission, transfer case, and differential concerns. Rebuild and assemble manual and automatic transmissions. Diagnosis engine, suspension and drivetrain related issues Rebuild differentials, including setting ring and pinion backlash and bearing preload Install gears. lockers, limited- slip differential, and aftermarket driveline components. Perform transfer case repairs and rebuilds Test drive and verify repairs Maintain accurate documentation of repairs Ideally can alignments on Hunter alignment machine Keep work area clean on a daily basis

Requirements:

Previous professional expereince rebuilding transmissions and or differentials. Experience as a mechanic or in a similar role required. Strong understanding of drivetrains and/or differentials Experience with Toyota/Lexus vehicals preferred, but not required. Ability to diagnose complex mechanical problems High attention to details Ability to work independently while maintaining quality. Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
