Job Description

Ironworker Foreman Staffworks Group is seeking an experienced Ironworker Foreman to join our team in Kensington, CT. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in structural steel erection, welding, rigging, and leading crews in a fast-paced construction environment. This is a hands-on leadership role that requires a strong commitment to safety, quality workmanship, and productivity.
Location:
Kensington, CT Pay:
$35.00-$38.00 per hour (based on experience)
Qualifications:
Welding Certification required. OSHA 10 Certification required.
Responsibilities:
Supervise and lead ironworker crews on structural steel erection projects. Coordinate daily work activities to ensure projects are completed safely and efficiently. Read and interpret structural steel drawings and erection plans. Oversee the installation, connecting, aligning, and securing of structural steel members. Perform and supervise welding operations in accordance with project specifications. Safely work around cranes during steel erection operations. Connect and rig structural steel members during crane picks. Ensure all work is performed in compliance with OSHA regulations and company safety standards. Maintain communication with project managers, superintendents, and field personnel. SWNE1
