Job Description
Experienced Welder / Metal Fabricator - Miami, FL Lux Awnings & Metal , an established Miami-based awning and architectural metal fabrication company, is seeking an experienced, self-motivated Welder / Metal Fabricator to join our team. We specialize in custom awnings, canopies, fences, gates, railings, and architectural metalwork for residential and commercial projects throughout South Florida. Qualifications & Experience Minimum 3 years of professional metal fabrication and welding experience Proven experience working as a Metal Fabricator in a fabrication shop or construction-site environment Strong experience with MIG welding Skilled in cutting, measuring, fitting, grinding, shaping, assembling, and finishing metal components Experience working with aluminum, galvanized steel, steel, and sheet metal Strong mechanical knowledge of different metals, materials, and their properties Ability to accurately interpret mechanical blueprints, technical drawings, and fabrication/shop drawings Ability to work from measurements and drawings to accurately cut, shape, fit, weld, and assemble components Must be self-motivated, dependable, detail-oriented, and able to work independently Must consistently produce clean, precise, professional-quality work Responsibilities Interpret mechanical blueprints, technical drawings, measurements, and fabrication shop drawings to accurately fabricate and assemble custom metal components. Collaborate with team members to interpret drawings correctly and execute complex mechanical and architectural fabrications efficiently. Maintain a safe and organized work environment by following all company safety procedures and using appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times. Take responsibility for the quality and accuracy of your work from initial measurements and fabrication through final assembly and finishing.
