In this role, you will be responsible for measuring, cutting, and assembling metal framing components for various construction projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in general construction practices and hands-on experience with power tools. While general metal framing experience is required, candidates with specific experience in Light Gauge Steel (LGS) construction will be given high preference. Duties

•Accurately assemble and screw together steel framing components to build safe, structurally sound frameworks. Read and use a tape measure accurately to ensure materials are cut and placed to exact specifications. Read, comprehend, and strictly follow written instructions, work orders, and basic construction plans. Safely and effectively operate a variety of hand tools and power tools required for metal cutting and assembly. Apply general knowledge of construction and framing practices to ensure all work meets quality and safety standards. Maintain a clean work area and follow all company and OSHA safety guidelines while operating machinery and handling steel. Qualifications High school diploma, GED, or equivalent trade experience (preferred). Proven hands-on experience in the construction or framing industry. Specific experience working with Light Gauge Steel (LGS) framing is highly preferred. General knowledge of standard commercial or residential construction and framing practices. Demonstrable experience safely operating hand tools and power tools used in metalwork and framing. Physical Requirements Must possess the physical strength to safely lift, carry, and position materials weighing up to 60 lbs on a regular basis. Must have the ability to bend, kneel, stoop, crouch, and stand for long periods throughout the workday. Must be able to work safely in highly physical, indoor/outdoor construction and manufacturing environments, which may involve varying temperatures and noise levels. Additional Requirements Commitment to wearing all mandatory Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)—including steel-toe boots, eye protection, and hearing protection—and strictly following company safety policies at all times. Must have reliable transportation to report to work on time according to the assigned shift schedule. Strong work ethic, dependable attendance, and the ability to communicate effectively and work collaboratively with co-workers and supervisors. Willingness to work overtime or adjusted shift schedules as required to meet project production deadlines.

Pay:

$18.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
