Position Summary:
Fabricates and assembles metal components used in the production of custom signs. This position involves a variety of hands-on trade skills and provides opportunities to learn additional areas of sign manufacturing.
Hours of operation:
Monday thru Thursday 6am to 4:30pm
Primary Duties:
Measure, cut, drill, bend, and prepare metal materials. Weld and assemble sign cabinets and components. Use saws, drills, grinders, shears, and other fabrication tools. Read measurements and basic drawings or work instructions. Perform basic wiring and assembly as trained. Assist with sign installation when needed. Learn and perform additional sign manufacturing skills as trained. Ability to work at elevated heights when needed, including assisting with sign installation from a bucket or crane
Preferred Skills:
Mechanical aptitude and experience with fabrication, welding, construction, manufacturing, or another hands-on trade are helpful. Sign-industry experience is not necessarily required.
