Job Summary We are looking for a skilled Structural Steel Welder & Erector to join our team. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience welding, fitting, and erecting structural steel and takes pride in doing quality work safely and efficiently. You'll be responsible for installing and assembling structural steel on active construction projects, including beams, columns, braces, plates, and miscellaneous steel. The ability to read structural drawings, understand steel details, accurately measure and fit materials, and work safely at heights is essential. We're looking for someone dependable, hardworking, safety-minded, and experienced who can take pride in the steel they put in the air. Duties Required:

Previous experience in structural steel welding and/or erection . Preferred /

Additional Qualifications:

Structural welding certification(s). Experience with FCAW, SMAW, and/or GMAW welding processes. Experience operating aerial lifts, scissor lifts, forklifts, or similar equipment. Experience with crane signaling and structural steel rigging. Experience interpreting connection details and erection drawings. OSHA or other construction safety certifications. Previous experience working on commercial, industrial, or large-scale structural steel projects. Valid driver's license.

Ability to read and understand structural steel drawings, shop drawings, and details . Ability to accurately measure, lay out, fit, and install structural steel. Experience with structural welding and proper weld preparation and fit-up. Ability to safely work from lifts, scaffolding, ladders, and elevated work areas . Ability to safely rig, move, and position steel members. Knowledge of basic structural steel erection and construction practices. Ability to use common hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and rigging equipment. Strong understanding of construction-site safety practices. Reliable transportation and dependable attendance. Ability to work outdoors and in varying weather conditions. Ability to lift, carry, and handle heavy materials and equipment as required. Ability to work independently while also taking direction from a foreman or supervisor. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.

Pay:

$20.00 - $25.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
