Weekly pay Steady, consistent work Local support team that values safety and reliability Job Summary The Truss Assembly Technician is responsible for assembling cut lumber into floor and roof trusses according to specifications. This role may also assist with pulling plates, stacking and banding finished products, marking materials, and moving completed trusses to designated areas. The position reports directly to the Section Lead and Foreman. Essential Functions Pull metal plates required for truss assembly. Set up and operate presses, nail guns, and other related equipment. Secure plates using a hammer and/or press. Lift and stack finished trusses from lumber carts. Maintain cleanliness of work areas. Report equipment malfunctions or product defects to the Section Lead. Follow all company policies, procedures, and safety guidelines (written and unwritten). Properly wear all required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), including steel-toe boots, safety glasses, ear protection, and gloves. Comply with OSHA regulations and company safety policies. Perform additional duties as assigned by the Section Lead or Foreman. Physical Requirements Ability to lift heavy materials and perform repetitive tasks.
