Updated 08/2026 Job Description Job Summary Structures Mechanic LAUNCH Technical Workforce Solutions is seeking unlicensed Structures Mechanics with experience performing body and structural repairs on commercial aircraft for an opportunity in Tampa,FL.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

Structures Mechanics will fabricate, repair, replace and rebuild aircraft parts and structures on commercial aircraft in compliance with policies, manuals, procedures and requirements. Qualifications and requirements: 24 months of commercial aircraft relevant experience is 737, A319/320/321 and 767 Must have the minimum tools as required. Must be willing to perform other functions and duties as assigned by managers and supervisors. Must be willing to work any shift. Must have valid DL Drivers License Must be willing to work overtime (as requested). High school diploma or equivalent required. Must have reliable transportation to and from the job site. We are a 24/7 operation, so candidates must be willing/able to work any shifts, including weekends. There will be NO shift/RDO preferences accommodated as they will be placed where needed. Candidates must be able to pass a 10-year federal background check in order to obtain a SIDA badge from the airport. The background check process should ensure contractors are NOT submitted if they have committed any of the disqualifying offenses on the TSA list. They will not accept candidates who have had a failed, or refused, DOT drug and/or alcohol test in the last 2 years. For licensed positions, they should have a clear license in good standings. For structures positions there will be a skills test that includes a written and practical exam. Failure to pass the skills test will result in termination of the contractors assignment. All candidates should have the ability to read, write, and speak/comprehend English. This is an FAA requirement that we must uphold.
