Position Summary:
We're seeking an experienced Sign Fabricator to take charge of our shop floor. You'll be responsible for building large-scale metal signage and leading a small team from concept to completion. If you know your way around aluminum, steel, lighting, and acrylic—and thrive under pressure and deadlines—we'd love to talk.
What You'll Do:
Interpret drawings, blueprints, and specs, to plan fabrication Determine best materials, fabrication methods, and assembly processes Fabricate exterior metal signs (monument, blade signs, letters, cabinets, etc.) Lead a team of 2-3 fabricators to stay on time, on budget, and on quality Collaborate with design and project managers to troubleshoot issues and optimize fabrication processes Perform quality control checks throughout the fabrication process to maintain ambitious standards of craftsmanship and accuracy Maintain a clean, safe, and efficient work environment Proactively solve problems and adjust plans under tight deadlines
What We're Looking For:
5+ years of sign fabrication experience , with a strong portfolio demonstrating proficiency with large architectural signage Proficiency with metalworking tools and materials (aluminum, steel, welding, routing, etc.), with a keen understanding of safety protocols and best practices. Proven experience leading or mentoring a fabrication team Strong understanding of signage construction, lighting integration, and finishes, technical drawings and blueprints, with a strong attention to detail and accuracy Ability to assign tasks and responsibilities to fabrication team members based on their skills and project requirements Excellent communication skills - must be able to give direction and collaborate with other teams Ability to develop and maintain project schedules, ensuring that all phases are completed on time.
